As CEO of Invincible Pictures, Llc., Ashley is creating a major independent entertainment group with operations in music, film, television and artist/producer management. He has created a worldwide alliance for the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of music and DVD films.
Kevon Glickman, 47, most recently has been providing full-service personal and lifestyle management services. He has represented Rick Ross, whose first two albums entered #1 on Billboard’s Pop Album chart; Trina, whose fourth album recently entered # 1 on Billboard’s R&B album chart; and Flo Rida, whose single “Low” featuring T-Pain is the top single of 2008, spending 11 weeks at #1 on the pop singles chart and selling the largest amount of digital downloads in history. During this time, Glickman also settled lawsuits against Clive Davis/BMG on behalf of Philadelphia Grammy winners, The Delfonics, as well as copyright suits against Über-producers Nate “Danjahands” Hill, Timbaland, and Warner/Chappell. Glickman was also COO/ President of Ruffnation Records, a joint venture with Time Warner that charted multiple albums and published songs on major labels and soundtracks, including the Academy Award-winning 8 Milesoundtrack featuring Eminem andBait, starring Jamie Fox, before being sold to Warner Brothers.
Prior to Ruffnation Records, Glickman was General Counsel/Senior VP of Ruffhouse Records, one of the most successful independent labels of all time with sales of 100million units,including the biggest-selling hip-hop album of all time, The Score by The Fugees, and Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which garnered five Grammy Awards. Ruffhouse also signed, among others, Wyclef Jean, Cypress Hill, Nas and Kriss Kross before being sold to Sony Entertainment. Glickman has guided the careers of other notable artists, including D’Angelo, Funkmaster Flex, The Supremes’ Mary Wilson and Philadelphia’s Josh Wink and King Britt. Glickman recently signed new artist and Philadephia native Selina Carrera to Sony/BMG, began working with reggae superstar Barrington Levy, and also supplied urban remixes to Jive records for 2007 American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks. Glickman is also repping rapper/actor Ryan Banks, authors JM Benjamin and Azie Faison, LA-based Create Advertising, and virtual world software engineer Flipper Peregrine.
Glickman has a distribution deal with Universal owned INGrooves and Federal, which will allow the firm to provide digital and physical distribution of CDs and DVDs for select music and film clients. Glickman also has an arrangement for the administration of copyrights outside the United States with EMI UK, providing Bochetto and Lentz with the reach to protect and exploit its clients’ intellectual property on multi-platforms and on a global basis.
Glickman also is a partner in WDST and theRadio Woodstock Network in upstate New York, which is the promoter of Mountain Jam, an annual three-day June music festival at Hunter Mountain, NY, featuring the world’s most popular jam bands.
Mr. Glickman is a graduate of Emory University, where he earned his B.A. (1982), and John Marshall Law School, where he earned his J.D. (1987). In addition he studied international business law at King’s College in London (1986). He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is also a frequent lecturer at Temple University, Drexel and Widener Law School.
